Description: The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Administration for Native Americans (ANA) announces the availability of Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 funds for community-based projects for the Native American Language Preservation and Maintenance – Esther Martinez Immersion. The Esther Martinez Immersion provides funding to support three-year projects being implemented by Native American Language Nests and Survival Schools in accordance with Pub. L. 109-394. Native American communities include American Indian tribes (federally-recognized and non-federally recognized), Native Hawaiians, Alaskan Natives, and Native American Pacific Islanders.
